Technical Details

Training is delivered against the client's own live site and its actual configuration rather than a generic demo, because the steps that matter are the ones specific to that theme, those plugins and that content model. Sessions are role-scoped: the person publishing blog posts is taught a different path from the person updating products or managing users, and each is given only the permissions their role needs. Content is delivered hands-on, with the trainee performing each task while the trainer watches, since watching a demonstration does not transfer the muscle memory of where things are. Practice is done in a staging copy or on a draft where a mistake is consequence-free. Every session produces written documentation with screenshots of that site, which is the deliverable that survives staff turnover. Common failure paths are taught deliberately: what an unsaved draft looks like, how to recover a previous revision, what breaks a layout, and which settings must not be changed. Recordings are provided so a new hire can be brought up without repeating the session.
